Video: Students Vandalize a High School in Fez After Failed Cheating Attempts
Rabat - A group of students wrecked havoc in one of Fez’ High Schools, deeming the Baccalaureate exam they were supposed to take Saturday morning to be “too difficult,” and the teacher’s guard too “up tight.”
A shocking video showing students vandalizing Ibn Hanei High School in the city of Fez have been shared massively this Saturday morning on social networks.
The footage was recorded by the students themselves, who decided to riot against the school administration for not letting them cheat on the mathematics of the Baccalaureate regional exam, which they said to be “too difficult.”
The students broke down the school’s utilities, from doors and windows to the classrooms chairs and desks. Even the small gardens inside the school didn’t escape their wrath, as they stomped down the plants and broke the garden’s pots.
The High School’s principal and teachers had also their share of insults and verbal abuse, as the student’s accused them of “tightening” their guard and not allowing them to cheat.
As chaos ensued, the head of the Fez National Education Academy filed a complaint against the students to the Fez authorities, who intervened to restore order in the school, and arrest a number of students involved in the riot.
