Rabat-Salé Tramway to Be Extended Until 2AM on Ramadan Night 26
Rabat - Transdev has announced that tramway schedules between Rabat and Salé will be extended for the eve of Laylat Al Qadr (Destiny Night)until 2 a.m.
The tramway will run until 2 a.m. with a passage every half hour starting midnight, the company said in a statement, noting that the timetables will be available on the tramway's stations, as well as on the company's Facebook page and website.
Muslims consider Laylat Al Qadrto be the holiest night in the lunar calendar. It is traditionally celebrated on the 27th night of Ramadan and is believed to be the night in which the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by the angel Gabriel.
